Who is responsible for your data

MetaLife Metaverse is a project of Albawaba Almotakamela for Corporate Representation Services (Integrated Gate), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, which is responsible for the data collected through this website.

What we collect

• What you type into the contact form: name, email, phone, organisation, message, and any additional details you choose to add.
• Your device's IP address, the time of sending and the page language, stored with your message to protect the form against spam and abuse.
• Technical logs kept automatically by our hosting provider for security and server operation.

Why we use it

• To answer your request and contact you about it, based on the consent you give when sending the form.
• To protect the website and the form against automated messages and abuse, which is our legitimate interest.

We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

• Contact-form messages and their data, including the IP address: kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless a contractual relationship between us requires keeping them longer.
• Technical logs at our hosting provider: kept for a limited period under the provider's policy, then deleted automatically.

Who can access it

• Only the MetaLife team members who handle requests.
• Our hosting provider, whose servers store the website's data.
• Our email provider: a copy of each message reaches our mailbox, which is run by Google.

These providers' servers may be located outside the UAE; we choose well-known providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

• The website uses one technical cookie (mlm_sess) to secure the contact form; it is deleted when you close your browser. It is necessary for the form to work, so it does not require separate consent.
• The security and speed network used by our hosting provider may set a temporary security cookie to tell visitors apart from automated programs.
• Only if you accept visitor statistics, Google Analytics sets cookies starting with _ga; they are deleted if you withdraw your consent.
• We do not use advertising cookies or cookies that track you across other websites.

Third-party services

• Videos: the YouTube player loads only when you click a video, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once played, Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Fonts: the website's fonts load from Google Fonts, which may receive your device's IP address.
• Visitor statistics (Google Analytics): when enabled, a notice asks for your consent, and they only run if you accept. They collect anonymous data about the pages you visit to improve the website, and you can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

• Access the data we hold about you and obtain a copy.
• Correct or update your data.
• Ask us to delete your data.
• Object to the processing of your data or ask us to restrict it.
• Withdraw your consent, without affecting anything done before the withdrawal.
• Lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority in the UAE.

How we protect data

The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the admin panel is password-protected and accessible only to the people who manage the site, and we keep its systems up to date.

Children

The contact form is not intended for people under 18. If you are a parent asking about our products for children, please write to us yourself.

Applicable law

We process data in accordance with the laws in force in the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page, and each update applies from the date it is published.
