About us

Experience in virtual reality since 2019, and an Arab venture working in nine countries.

MetaLife's journey began with experience in virtual-reality applications from 2019, when its founder, Hesham Khalafallah, led innovation, marketing and expansion at the Swiss company Swiss Digital World. In 2022 he founded MetaLife Metaverse as an initiative of the E-Gate Foundation for Training and Education, licensed in Egypt (no. 11637 of 2022). Since early 2023 it has been a commercial project of Albawaba Almotakamela for Corporate Representation Services (Integrated Gate) in the UAE

Our mission

Technology that serves people

Virtual worlds and AI have a dark side, from isolation to privacy breaches. So every experience we build has a clear purpose and a reasonable duration, protects user data, and we publish what our research finds.

Building the future

Ideas we are developing now

We are working on new solutions that have not launched yet. If your organisation would like to be among the first to try them, get in touch.

Live coverage of major events

A new way to attend major events remotely, and to document them for generations to come.

AI guides that talk with you

Experiences where visitors converse with an AI guide by voice, in their language, at any time.

Questions we hear often, and our answers

Is virtual reality just games?

No. Games are a small part. We use VR for safe hands-on training, skills testing, medical and engineering simulation, heritage documentation, and exhibitions and events. Even our games are learning tools.

The technology is not widespread yet, so why start now?

Because those who start early build experience and content first. Headset use grows every year, and the UAE and Saudi Arabia are adopting the metaverse officially. And we start with a small prototype, so the risk is low.

We want a spectacular show. Do you do that?

Yes, with real value added. We design experiences that impress in the moment and leave visitors with knowledge, a skill or a memory that lasts.

Who are you, and how big are you?

Experience since 2019, a team of 7 specialists, a complete mobile lab, work in nine countries, showings in London and at US universities, and documented press coverage. We would rather you judge us by experience, which is why we start with a prototype.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the goal, scope and equipment. We design within your budget and send an initial concept with costs once we understand your needs.

Are VR headsets safe for children?

Yes, when used with the clear rules we apply in every session: no more than 10 minutes, a member of our team supervising the children throughout, headsets sanitised after every user, and a personal single-use face cover.

From what age can a child use the headsets?

We follow the age set by the manufacturer of each headset. Younger children experience the same 360° content on interactive screens, without a headset.

Is the same headset used by more than one child?

Yes, but we sanitise it after every user and give each child a new personal face cover that is used once and then replaced.
