In December 2023 MetaLife launched MetaLife Global Arena for hosting international conferences, exhibitions and remote meetings in an immersive environment, as part of a strategic partnership with Integrated Gate in the UAE.

At launch the platform presented a simulation of the COP28 climate conference, where participants move between halls and pavilions as avatars.

This model was MetaLife's own initiative to demonstrate the platform; it was not commissioned by the conference organisers or by the organisations whose logos appear in it.
